The Canning Stock Route stretches for roughly 1,850 kilometres between Wiluna and Halls Creek, crossing some of the most remote country in Western Australia.

Originally established as a stock route, the CSR is now one of Australia's best-known remote 4WD journeys. Sand dunes, historic wells, spinifex country and huge distances between services make preparation every bit as important as the driving itself.

This isn't a track you squeeze into a long weekend. Fuel, water, vehicle preparation, communications and enough time to deal with remote-country travel all form part of the trip.
