The Oodnadatta Track runs through some of South Australia's most recognisable outback country, linking Marree with Marla through old railway settlements, historic infrastructure and kilometres of open country.

This isn't a route built around one massive obstacle. The appeal is the journey itself. Corrugations, creek crossings, old railway bridges, former sidings and the remains of the Old Ghan and Overland Telegraph story give the track its character.

Pull into Oodnadatta, stop at the Pink Roadhouse, explore the old railway country or work the track into a bigger desert trip. However you run it, the Oodnadatta is one of those outback routes that becomes part of the trip log.
