The CREB Track runs through the ranges between the Daintree region and Wujal Wujal, cutting through steep tropical country where the surface and weather can make a massive difference to the drive.

Clay climbs, ruts, rainforest and steep gradients give the CREB its reputation. In dry conditions it's already a proper 4WD run. Add rain and the character of the track can change quickly, which is why conditions matter so much when planning a trip through here.
