With roughly 1200 metres of elevation packed into a brutal alpine ascent, Billy Goat has become one of the Victorian High Country’s true rite-of-passage tracks. The climb is steep, narrow and unforgiving in sections, especially once the surface chops out or the weather turns ugly.
